Tender are invited for Wastewater Treatment Facility Upgrades, UV Disinfection, Outfall
Notice Details
Sealed envelopes marked "TENDER - Village of Chipman, NB, Wastewater Treatment Facility Upgrades - UV Disinfection, Pumping Station and HDD Outfall" will be received at the office of WSP, 80 Bishop Drive, Fredericton, NB 3:00 pm local time, Thursday, July 16, 2020. The name of the Bidding firm shall also be indicated on the envelope. A closed-door (private) opening of the bids will immediately follow in the office of WSP, with WSP employees only in attendance. Bid opening results will be e-mailed to all Bidders following the bid opening process.
Proposed work involves the supply and installation of the following major components:
- PART A - New UV disinfection facility and pumping station with associated structures/buildings, sanitary sewer piping and approx. 110 meters of sanitary force main.
- PART B - Approx. 600 meters of 200 mm diameter HDPE outfall pipe using horizontal directional drilling (HDD) methods.
Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or Certified Cheque in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Bid Price (including HST). The successful bidder will be required to provide Performance Securities as specified in the Bid Documents.
Bid submission guidelines are itemized in Section 00 21 13 - Instruction to Bidders.
General Contractors only may obtain drawings and specifications from WSP Canada Group Limited, 80 Bishop Drive, Fredericton NB at a cost of $50.00 (incl. HST) per set, non-refundable. Payment can only be made by cheque or money order.
Bid Documents are on display at the Construction Association Office in Fredericton, Saint John and Moncton, New Brunswick.
The lowest or any bid will not necessarily be accepted.
