Description : The study will build a multidisciplinary research view across pertinent scientific fields on the impact of social media on our brains, on us as individuals and on society. It will put particular emphasis on the use of and access to data across all research fields. It will organise consultations and a conference, and work on federating a new community. A final report will detail the current state of the art, analyse areas where research is needed in order to deal with social media opportunities (e.g. collective networked approaches) and threats (e.g. misinformation), and propose a multidisciplinary research agenda.
