NOTICE OF INTENT to Sole Source Requirement for UV Light System Maintenance for Lower Colorado Dams OfficeSol. No. 140R3020Q0032This solicitation is being advertised as a noncompetitive sole source solicitation as provided under FAR 13 and 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Department of the Interior, Bureau of Reclamation, Lower Colorado Dams Office (LCDO), Hoover Dam, Parker Dam and Davis Dam, have a requirement for an all-inclusive service contract to service and maintain the existing Atlantium HOD Ultra-Violet (UV) Light system(s) installed on generator cooling water systems, used to control quagga mussel growth in critical plant coolers and heat exchangers.The only company known to be able to perform these services is Atlantium Technologies Ltd., located in Beit Shemesh, Israel. The NAICS for this action 811310, entitled "Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance", which has a small business size standard of $8.0 million.Award is anticipated in June 2020, with service beginning in July 2020. The resulting contract will be a Firm-Fixed Price type contract with one (1) base year and up to four (4) option years. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. All documents submitted must contain an explanation and evidence as to how your company would be able to perform these services in the specified location. Submissions are due by Friday, March 6, 2020 at 4:30PM local time.The contract award information and the Justification and Approval for using noncompetitive procedures will be posted on the BetaSAM website at https://beta.sam.gov/.
