Scope: (USPSC/Offshore) - Science, Technology, Innovation, and Partnerships (STIP) Advisor. STIP advisor will: A.Support Enhanced Incorporation of STIP in the USAID Program Cycle and Business Processes: 1. Conduct data, policy and trends analysis, and provide technical recommendations and leadership to inform strategic planning exercises at the country, regional, agency and inter-agency levels. 2.Work closely with EG&T staff to identify project specific needs and/or opportunities where STIP approaches, including public-private partnerships, could be leveraged to address development problems in the country. 3.Advise Office Directors and technical staff in other Mission offices on enhanced use of STIP tools and approaches in current and future programming. Propose and offer guidance on programming that increases the use of scientific research for improved development outcomes, advances the use of technology and data-driven approaches to empower poor communities, and promotes adoption of high-impact innovation models and design practices.
