Description : UNICEF Moldova invites interested companies to submit their proposals for conducting a quantitative and qualitative study on children`s and adolescents` deprivations (in one district of Moldova)

The consultancy is expected to be carried out within a four months period, from September to December 2019.

The purpose of this assignment is to assist LPAs of selected district and UNICEF in identifying the main deprivations faced by children and adolescents, using child-related indicators associated to the multidimensional poverty approach see methodology below for further details. This work will inform and help identifying at a later stage feasible options for the development of a poverty alleviation models to be implemented in the selected district.



The consultancy will focus on answering amongst others the following questions:

- What multidimensional deprivations indicators could be used to comprehensively analyse poverty amongst children and adolescents in selected district? Recommend set of adjusted multidimensional poverty data to be included in the quantitative study.

- What indicators are regularly collected through national and administrative data collection systems? What are the data gaps?

- What are the main deprivations faced by children and adolescents in selected district?

- Are there any particular deprivations for any particular age and/ or gender group?

- What are the main bottlenecks and barriers that prevent children and adolesce...
