Description of the assignment: UNDP-Nepal is supporting Government of Nepal, Ministry of Finance to implement Green Climate Fund Readiness and Preparatory Support to continue and strengthen the current efforts to effectively and efficiently plan for, access, manage, deploy and monitor climate financing through GCF. Nepal aims to strategically and systematically buildthe national capacity at different levels to ensure that the knowledge, process and mechanism are transferred to extent possible and thus contributing to sustainable capacity building efforts. The purpose of the part of the project under this contract is to provide technical support for the assessment of capacity and training needs and for the contextualization of national circumstances for effective functioning at the country to access GCF resources.Project name: Green Climate Fund Readiness and Preparatory Support Programme (GCFRPS)Period of assignment/services (if applicable): 40 days spread over three months.
