Tenders are invited for Underground Passage Section 225 Kv Kounoune Diass.

This invitation to tender follows the General Procurement Notice published on the public procurement website www.marchespublics.sn and in the sun of 03 January 2018.

2. Senelec and the State of Senegal have mobilized funds, to finance the work of "Passage underground section line 225 kV Kounoune Diass". Indeed, this stretch of line overhangs the Mineral Port of Bargny.

3. Senelec solicits closed bids from eligible candidates who meet the qualifications required to carry out the work:

ü From the underground passage of the line
ü The installation of stop pylons
ü The removal of the existing line

The period of execution of the contract is 12 months.

4. A site visit will be organized by the Project Owner at the Project Site (Bargny mineral port) on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 from 09:30. Interested candidates can send an email to

8. The qualification requirements are:

a) Financial capacity:

- The Applicant must establish that he has access to financing such as liquid assets, lines of credit, other than the potential start-up loan of four hundred million (400, 000, 000) CFA francs.

- The candidate must provide the financial statements of the years, 2015, 2016 and 2017 duly certified by a Chartered Accountant by ONECCA (if the legal provisions provide for it)

b) Technical capacity:

The candidate must prove documentary evidence, which it has had to perform as a contractor or subcontractor, a similar contract (s) during the last (5) years from 1 January 2013.
