This sources sought is issued as a means of conducting market research to identify parties that have an interest in the resources to support this requirement: ultraviolet (uv) disinfection system



salient characteristics:



• system shall automatically calculate the proper cycle time to provide a pathogen-lethal, sporicidal (c. Diff) uvc dose to all room surfaces in direct and shadowed areas, from one placement and one cycle. Cycle time shall not exceed 30 minutes per room.



• system shall include uvc sensors capable of 360o uvc dose measurement throughout the room. Sensors shall be permanently mounted within the device.



• system shall ensure the uvc dose, validated to adequately disinfect shadowed areas within the room that are not in line-of-sight of the uvc device, are achieved from one placement and one cycle.



• system shall require one placement in the room, ensuring a consistent disinfection baseline, with validations documenting capability of total room disinfection.



• system shall have an onboard computer system easy to use and not have to be connected to our con.



• uv machine needs to be simplified for the hospital staff to run. Bulbs shall be easy to clean and replace. Bulbs shall be long lasting.



• one machine shall do all of the above, shall be portable (easy to move and store).
