Terms of Reference 1. Introduction and Project Background 1.1. the Town of Bracebridge is Seeking Proposals from Qualified Contractors to Supply and Install Ultra Violet Pool Sanitizer Systems at the Bracebridge Sportsplex. 1.2. the Corporation of the Town of Bracebridge Operates and Maintains the Bracebridge Sportsplex As Part of Its Recreational Facilities. the Sportsplex is Located at 110 Clearbrook Trail, Bracebridge, Ontario. 1.3. the Sportsplex Opened in 2006. there Are Three (3) Pools in the Sportsplex. the Lap Pool Holds 200, 000 Gallons of Water. the Leisure Pool Holds 21, 000 Gallons of Water. the Therapy Pool Holds 11, 000 Gallons of Water. the Current Pool Sanitizer Systems Uses Liquid Chlorine. 2. Scope of Work 2.1. All Work will be Performed and Completed with Minimum Impact on Pool Schedules. 2.2. Respondents will Make Recommendations and Provide Rationale As to the Type of Systems to be Supplied. 2.3. Respondents will be Responsible for Supplying, Installing and Testing of the New Systems 2.4. Respondents will Provide Training for Town Staff in the Proper Operation of the Systems. Respondents will Provide a Training Outline and Time Necessary to Complete Training As Part of the Proposal. 2.5. Respondents will Provide Training for Town Staff in the Proper Maintenance of the Systems and will Provide the Necessary Training to Ensure the System is Properly Maintained. 2.6. the Respondent will Provide All Resources, Permits, Materials and Equipment Necessary for the Execution of All Duties Under This Contract Unless Otherwise Stated. 2.7. the Respondent will Provide Parts and Labour Warranty Information. 2.8. All Garbage and Waste Material will be Removed Off-Site by the Respondent. 2.9. Respondents Must Arrange for a Site Visit Appointment by Contacting the Manager of Facilities at 705-645-3037 Ext. 126. It is Mandatory that Each Respondent Arrange a Site Visit So that an Accurate Proposal will be Submitted. Town of Bracebridge
