I. PROJECT: SUSTAINABLE TOURISM STANDARDS FOR DESTINATIONS TRAINING

II. SCHEDULE: 4-7 November 2018 (4 days)

III. BACKGROUND

In line with the Tourism Industry Skills Program (TISP), the Department of Tourism is assisting several stakeholders in the conduct of various training programs to address tourism skills gaps, upgrade HRD practices for tourism industry for increased customer satisfaction, enhanced competitiveness and profitability in the tourism sector.

This training program is intended for Davao Tourism Association (DATA) whose membership covers over a hundred various hotels, resorts, restaurants and hospitality and tourism universities of Davao Region.

IV. Title: SUSTAINABLE TOURISM STANDARDS FOR DESTINATIONS TRAINING ON NOVEMBER 4-7, 2018

Duration: 4 days

Location: within Davao City

Persons to be trained: 50 Persons

V. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR SUPPLIERS

i‚§ Must at least be a member of Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC);

i‚§ Must be able to establish and manage global sustainable standards, known as the GSTC Criteria;

i‚§ Must be able to outline an interdisciplinary, holistic and integrative approaches to key areas of sustainability objectives, and serve as a common language to promote sustainable tourism at the destination level.

VI. SCOPE OF WORK/DELIVERABLES

i‚§ Carry out the training program including the customization of training modules and gathering of feedback evaluation and analysis;

VII. BUDGET FOR THE CONTRACT:

THREE HUNDRED EIGHTY THOUSAND PESOS ONLY (Php 380, 000.00)

NOTE: The winning bid however shall be determined by the end user based on the most appropriate proposal for the training
