Three Runway System Project Contract 3402 New Integrated Airport Centres Enabling Works (Contract 3402)

Description : The Airport Authority Hong Kong (the "Authority") is planning to construct a new integrated control centre which will replace the existing Integrated Airport Centre to become a centralized coordination and command centre to manage all daily airport operations and emergency situation.The works to be carried out under this Contract (the Works) include modification of Gatehouse 1 facilities, provision of new traffic control kiosk and associated road and utility services diversion to facilitate construction of the main works for the new integrated Airport centre. The duration of the Works is 14 months. A location plan of the Works is attached for information.The procurement method for the Works, conditions for participation and contract award criteria are detailed in the tender documents.The Authority hereby invite tenders from contractors with PROVEN EXPERIENCE and the CAPABILITY to manage and construct the Works. Suitable contractors will need to be able to demonstrate relevant experience and ability in managing and implementing civil engineering works of similar nature. Applicants who wish to tender for the above Contract should forward their company name and address, together with the name, position, telephone number and e-mail address of their contact person, by e-mail to AATender.PD1@hkairport.com for the attention of Mr. Kevin Poole, Executive Director, Third Runway.The Authority will advise applicants in writing about the detailed arrangement for collecting the tender documents. Tenderers will be required to submit a tender bond in the amount of HK$300, 000 with the tender.Tenders for this Contract shall be submitted to the Authority not later than 16:30 (Hong Kong time) on Thursday, 6 September 2018.All costs associated with any submission in response to this notice shall be entirely the responsibility of the applicant.The procurement of the above works is covered by the Agreement on Government Procurement of the World Trade Organisation.
