Tender Details

Prequalifications are invited for Thorn M80 AFA System Replacement in KTL and TWL.

MTR Corporation Limited invites qualified contractors to express their interest in tendering for the replacement of Thorn M80 automatic fire alarm and detection (AFA) systems in 16 MTR stations and 10 ancillary buildings along Kwun Tong Line and Tsuen Wan Line.

The scope of Works includes the replacement of the existing Thorn M80 fire alarm panels and addressable field devices (i.e. detectors, alarm bells, interfacing modules and break glass units), and the provision of new fire services workstations together with the associated interface equipment for the communication between the new fire alarm panels and the existing Station Management System or Centralized Alarms & Surveillance System.

The tender may be divided into packages subject to further review by the Corporation.

The prequalification process for the tender will take place in September 2018 and tenders will be invited in October 2018.

In order to be considered for prequalification, interested parties having relevant resources, qualifications and experience are requested to express their interest on or before 24 August 2018 via the MTR Corporation Limited-s E-Tendering System.

Upon expression of interest, the applicants will receive the invitation for prequalification via the E-Tendering System. The applicants shall complete and submit all information and details as required in the invitation via the E-Tendering System no later than 2:00pm (Hong Kong Time) on 31 August 2018.
