Short description: The Ministry of Justice and Emergency Management wants a research project to provide the administration with new knowledge to further develop the guardianship scheme. The project will highlight the factors that influence how guardian goals work and are experienced, and how the interaction between guardians and the various actors at the individual and system level works, especially with regard to self-determination. We also want to elucidate how guardianship goals interact with other schemes to secure the rights of the guardian.
