Tender Details

The National Paediatric Hospital Development Board (NPHDB) is engaged in the construction of the New Children-s Hospital in Dublin, Ireland. The objective of the Competition is to select an economic operator (or consortium of economic operators) who will provide funding for the carpark at the New Children's Hospital in return for the grant of a concession to operate it for a fixed concession period of 30 years following mobilisation and full operational commencement. The successful tenderer (Concessionaire) will provide a capital premium payment up-front in consideration for the grant of the concession. The term of the Concession Agreement will be 30 years (360 months) plus the period required for fit out and mobilisation of the carpark. NPHDB will initially enter into the Concession Agreement and will be solely responsible for engaging with the Concessionaire during the mobilisation phase. The Concession Agreement will then be novated by NPHDB to Children's Health Ireland (CHI) following completion of the mobilisation and fit-out phase and prior to the commencement of operational services. CHI, solely, will engage with the Concessionaire during the operational phase and for the remainder of the term. CHI shall be the contracting authority during the operational phase.
