General Procurement Notice for Textbooks and Reference Materials.
The ISLAMIC UNIVERSITY IN UGANDA has received financing in the amount of United State Dollars Thirteen Million Nine Hundred and Forty Thousand Only (USD 13, 940, 000) equivalent from the Islamic Development Bank toward the cost of the IsDB PHASE II: ENHANCING THE LEARNING ENVIRONMENT AT ISLAMIC UNIVERISTY IN UGANDA, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds to payments for goods, works, related services and consulting services to be procured under this project. This project will be jointly financed by the ISLAMIC UNIVERSITY IN UGANDA in the amount of United State Dollars One Million Five Hundred and Eighty Thousand Only (USD 1, 580, 000)
The consultancy firms for the design and for the supervision of works shall be engaged through the Quality and Cost Based Selection (QCBS) among a Short list of National Firms.
Procurement of contracts financed by the Islamic Development Bank will be conducted through the procedures as specified in the Guidelines for Procurement of Goods and Works under Islamic Development Bank Financing (current edition), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the guidelines. Consulting services will be selected in accordance with the Guidelines for the Use of Consultants under Islamic Development Bank Financing (current edition).
Specific procurement notices for the procurement of Goods, Works and Consultancy Services will be announced, as they become available, in IsDB Website, UNDB, DG Market, and University or Ministry Webpage, international or local newspapers. The local National Competitive Bidding (NCB) opportunities will be published in the local newspapers and websites.
