Tenders are invited for TENDERS FOR NAIN GAZELAND, LOCATED IN THE PARISH OF ST. ELIZABETH

Tender More Details : The National Works Agency invites eligible contractors to submit TENDERS FOR NAIN GAZELAND, LOCATED IN THE PARISH OF ST. ELIZABETH. The works comprise of but is not limited to demolition and site clearance (bushing and trimming of banks), cleaning of side drains and outlets outlets and construction of concrete V drains. Pavement works include preparation of formation, base course, prime coat and asphaltic concrete overlay (38mm thick).

Eligibility: It is mandatory that contractors be on the National Contracts Commission (NCC)/Public Procurement Commission (PPC) List of Registered Contractors at the specified level in any of the following categories for their tenders to be eligible: Grade 1 -2 in the Civil Engineering Works or General Road Works Categories. Tenderers must have a valid Tax Compliance Certificate (TCC).

Availability: Tender Documents will be made available as of Friday, January 24, 2020, at the National Works Agency, Corporate Office, 140 Maxfield Avenue, Kingston 10 in the Directorate of Regional Implementation & Special Projects.

Fee: A non-refundable payment of J$5, 000 in cash or Managers' Cheque, payable to the Chief Executive Officer, National Works Agency, is required for each set of Tender Documents.

Return of Tenders: Completed tenders along with a Bid Security ($400, 000.00) in the form of a Manager's Cheque / Bank guarantee from a local bank or Tender Bond from an insurance company, NCC / PPC Certificate of Registration and a valid Tax Compliance Certificate (TCC) are to be placed in an envelope labelled "ROAD REHABILITATION WORKS: NAIN GAZELAND LOCATED IN THE PARISH OF ST. ELIZABETH". The envelope should then be placed in the Tender Box similarly labelled and located in the reception area of the National Works Agency, Corporate Office, 140 Maxfield Avenue, Kingston 10. Tenders are to be returned no later than 10:00 a.m. on Friday, February 14, 2020.

Tender Opening: The Tenders will be opened at 10:45 a.m. on Friday February 14, 2020 in the Conference area of the Regional and Special Projects Department, National Works Agency, 140 Maxfield Avenue, Kingston 10. Tenderers or their representatives are invited to the opening.

All queries concerning the Tender Document shall be made in writing and addressed to: Moira Williamson, Major Projects Manager (Acting), National Works Agency, Corporate Office, 140 Maxfield Avenue, Kingston 10 by Friday, January 31, 2020.

Tenders not accompanied by a valid Tax Compliance Certificate (TCC) and NCC / PPC Certificate of Registration will be rejected.
