The institute has a requirement for a competent service provider to provide mechanical & electrical consultancy services to the institute on a number of projects which our estates office is currently examining. There may also be a requirement for ad-hoc advice and services from time to time. The successful service provider will be required to provide mechanical & electrical consultancy services for the preparation of design and tender documents relating to small scale to medium scale projects, advertise contracts, evaluate or assist with the evaluation of contractor submissions, inspect work periodically during construction/installation, attend site meetings, liaise with engineers/architects, ensure compliance with statutory obligations requirements, liaise with itt appointed contractors and ensure final handover of relevant documentation including adequate as-built drawings and safety files. Professional services/advice will be for minor projects or other such similar projects that may come on line.
