Tenders are invited for TENDER FOR ROAD REHABILITATION: Tucker Avenue (Irwin), St. James

Tender More Details : The National Works Agency invites eligible contractors to submit tenders for ROAD REHABILITATIVE WORKS FOR TUCKER AVENUE (IRWIN) LOCATED IN THE PARISH OF ST. JAMES. The works consist of construction of U & V drains, concrete cross drains, pavement works including sub base, base course, asphaltic concrete overlay (38mm) thick and ancillary road works (Kerb).

Eligibility: It is mandatory that contractors be registered with the Public Procurement Commission`s (PPC) List of Registered Contractors at the specified level in any of the following categories for their tenders to be eligible: Grades 1 or 2 in the Civil Engineering Works or General Road Works Categories.

Availability: Tender Documents will be made available as of Tuesday, August 27, 2019, at the National Works Agency`s Corporate Office, 140 Maxfield Avenue, Kingston 10 in the Directorate of Regional Implementation & Special Projects.

Fee: A non-refundable payment of J$5, 000 in cash or Managers` Cheque, payable to the Chief Executive Officer, National Works Agency, is required for each set of Tender Documents.

Return of Tenders: Completed tenders along with the Bid Security ($400, 000.00) in the form of a Manager`s Cheque from a local bank or Tender Bond from an insurance company. Public Procurement Commission (PPC) Certificate of Registration and a valid Tax Compliance Letter (TCL), are to be placed in an envelope labelled "ROAD REHABILITATIVE WORKS FOR TUCKER AVENUE (IRWIN), ST. JAMES". The envelope should then be placed in the Tender Box similarly labelled and located in the reception area of the National Works Agency`s Corporate Office, 140 Maxfield Avenue, Kingston 10. Tenders are to be returned no later than 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 17, 2019.

Tender Opening: The Tenders will be opened at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, September 17, 2019, in the Regional Implementation & Special Projects Department`s Conference Area, National Works Agency, 140 Maxfield Avenue, Kingston 10.
Tenderers or their representatives are invited to the opening.

All queries concerning the Tender Document shall be made in writing and addressed to: Moira Williamson, Major Projects Manager (Acting), National Works Agency, Corporate Office, 140 Maxfield Avenue, Kingston 10; by Tuesday September 10, 2019.

Tenders not accompanied by a valid Tax Compliance Letter (TCL) and (PPC) Certificate of Registration will be rejected.
