Description : This Request for Expression of Interest (REOI) is a follow-up to the RFI posted by the UN on February 2019 (ref. RFIMG13187). The purpose of this REOI is to update vendors on the UN requirement and identify suitable service providers to be invited to the tender exercise. The UN intends to conduct a procurement exercise for the provision of Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) services with manned Fixed Wing aircraft (a minimum of two tasking lines) in support of peace-keeping operations in Mali. The aircraft and service components will be based in Timbuktu as the Main Operations Base (MOB) but, for operational reasons, one or more aircraft may be temporarly relocated to other locations such as Mopti, Kidal or Gao, if required. In due course the requirement may grow to delivering similar capabilities to operate at other MOBs, in addition to Timbuktu. The UN is seeking a turn key solution, including the provision of aircraft in accordance with (iaw) the standards contained in Annex 8 to the Convention on International Civil Aviation (the Convention) and associated service components, maintenance, personnel and exploitation/analysis of the imagery and data. The contractor may also be required to provide the necessary infrastructure for its equipment and personnel.
