Prior Information Notice for Technical Support to the National Social Protection Policy of the Gambia.

Contract description
The contract is to provide Technical Assistance to ''improve social protection'' in The Gambia.
The required Technical Assistance team will work predominantly at central level. The purposes of the contract are (i) to establish clear institutional structures and mandates for the coordination, financing and implementation of the NSPP; (ii) to build human and operational capacity in the National Social Protection Steering Committee, in the Social Protection Secretariat, in the Department of Social Welfare (DSW) and among other key stakeholders, to effectively implement social protection interventions; and (iii) to develop and validate robust systems to underpin the efficient operation and inform the future evolution of the NSPP.
