The assignment includes 2 items: Post 1 - basic package - technical management of municipal forests Management support: planning oDetermining the initial situation of the municipal forests by means of site inventories; oFormulation and communication of management advice: necessary measures + planning of the works + subsidy options per intervention/file; oAssessment of ecological measures in relation to economic possibilities (cost-benefit analysis at least 20 years); oOrganizing physical consultations and joint site visits (min. 1 half day every 2 months); oFollowing up on the nature management plan (NBP) and/or application for permits (measures provided for in NBP, possibly application for amendment of NBP or application for felling permit); oApplications for subsidies (via ANB e-counter); oSupport with formatting specifications or competitions for forest and nature management works; o Supporting communication during management works or forest exploitation: providing texts for municipal information sheet, information walk or information board... Forest exploitation oDetermination of general and special conditions + organization of timber sales (proceeds benefit the municipal council); oSupport with financial settlement; oMake agreements with operators about implementation; oMonitoring of operations + any adjustments during works + assessment and delivery. Management support: follow-up of works contracted by the client: oYouth care of the plantations: purification, exemption, loss… oManage open spaces oForest edge...
