Tenders are invited for Technical Assistance for the Project Planning and Implementation.

The Government of the Lao PDR has applied for a financing from Agence Française de Développement ("AFD") for a Judicial Services Training, Institutions and Capacity Enhancement (JuSTICE) Project (the Project).
The general objective of the Project is to contribute to the strengthening of the rule of law through a support to the Legal Sector Master Plan.
The specific objective is to strengthen the institutional and human resources of some core departments and training institutions of the Ministry of Justice, the Office of the Supreme People-s Prosecotur (OSPP) and the People-s Supreme Court (PSC), in order to provide effective, prompt and equitable justice that is accessible gradually to the people at all levels.
The Project will be implemented over a period of four years and divided into three components:
- Component 1: institutional support to the Ministry of Justice, OSPP and PSC
- Component 2: strengthening the training methodology of legal practitioners
- Component 3: project management and governance
The Ministry of Justice, as the Client, intends to hire the services of a Consultant to provide technical assistance for the implementation of the Project. The assistance will be provided by a team of one international expert and one national expert.
The Ministry of Justice requested AFD-s assistance for the procurement of this expertise. Therefore, AFD, on behalf and for the account of the Ministry of Justice, hereby invites Applicants to show their interest in delivering the Services described above.
