Contract description
This tender aims to contract long term Technical Assistance for the implementation of the EUAngola Dialogue Facility programme.
The EU and the Republic of Angola signed in July 2012 the Joint Way Forward Agreement (JWF).
Under this agreement both parts expressed their will to strengthen policy dialogue in areas of
common interest.
The aim of the EU-Angola Dialogue Facility programme is to promote policy dialogue between
Angola and the EU through the facilitation of institutional dialogue, networking, training and peer
exchange in priority areas identified by the JWF and its action plan. Such areas are peace and
security, including migration; good governance, human rights and fundamental freedoms,
including the fight against corruption; sustainable development and economic growth; decentralization and local governance, capacity building and science and technology;
environmental degradation and climate change; energy; and regional integration.
