Expression of Interest are invited for Support for the Sustainable Management of Forest Resources.

The Luxembourg agency for development cooperation (LuxDev) launches a call for expressions of interest for the acquisition of services for the implementation of a framework contract for the mobilization of short-term expertise on behalf of the BKF / 023 financed with funds from the Governments of Burkina Faso and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.

Providers invited to express their interest in providing the aforementioned services are: private law consultancy and consultancy firms, legally constituted (excluding non-governmental organizations, non-profit associations and public operators) and specialized in the provision of short-term expertise and technical assistance in the areas covered by the Program.

As an indication, the interested service providers will have to demonstrate their technical capacity and experience in the following areas:

• management of timber and non-timber forest resources (excluding wildlife);

• value chains and value chains for timber and non-timber forest products (excluding wildlife);

• planning and monitoring and evaluation ;

• Institutional and organizational reinforcements.

The start of services is scheduled for October 2018 and for a period of 40 months. Service providers must be available for the specified period and willing to intervene throughout the country. The maximum budget available for the contract is estimated at EUR 190 000 (excluding taxes).

Interested service providers are encouraged to provide the necessary and sufficient documentation to meet the selection criteria. The file, including the selection criteria and the expression of interest form, is available on request at the address indicated below.

The short list of candidates invited to submit an offer will be drawn up from a minimum of three (3) and a maximum of eight (8) qualified evaluated candidates, ranked if necessary according to the selection criteria.
