ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTION
The general objective of this consultancy is to obtain relevant technical inputs in the design of a Registry for an Emissions Trading System (ETS). This work will use the case of Mexico as baseline to define technical needs and it will adapt the existing German DEHSt registry system as input for a Pilot ETS in Mexico.
The specific objectives of the consultancy are: (i) to define the functional and technical specifications of the transaction registry; (ii) to define the architecture of the registry that fits best to the Mexican ETS; (iii) to assess the registrys administration and management needs; and (iv) to adapt the registry provided by the German Emissions Trading Authority (DEHSt) on the basis of the needs of the Mexican ETS pilot phase and its design

The World Bank Group now invites eligible firms to indicate their interest in providing the services.
