Tenders are invited for Support of a Consultant for the Operational Launching Workshop of a Agro Ecology Program for the Sahelian Zone.
The SCCF supports its partners in the Sahel zone (Senegal, Niger, Mauritania, Benin, Burkina-Faso, Mali, Togo, Chad) in food security, rural development and natural disaster risk prevention programs for many years. . Noting with its partners the degradation of local ecosystems and its consequences on all levels on the populations, in particular the most vulnerable ones, it wishes to evolve its action.
The SCCF and its Sahelian partners wish to build a program that enables them to develop agro-ecology to ensure the right to food, a decent income and a healthy environment for the poorest populations. This program will in the long term build an "agro-ecology" network (exchange of practices, strategic reflections) and an advocacy strategy in favor of a model based on family farming, alternative to agribusiness
All wish to acquire formal tools validated by all in order to work as coherently as possible on several dimensions of the program:
