Request for proposals are invited for Supply of in Vitro Diagnostics and Medical Devices.

Request for Proposal: PFSCM-RFP-20-002

PFSCM is contracted by The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria as Procurement Service Agent (PSA) for the supply of In Vitro Diagnostics and Medical Devices.

To support the Global Fund in its COVID-19 Response, PFSCM invites potential suppliers to submit proposals to supply diagnostic tests and required ancillary products used for the detection of SARS-COV-2 that are compliant with the Global Fund Quality Assurance Policy for Diagnostics Products and Quality Assurance requirements.

RFP issue date: July 17, 2020

RFP closure date: This request will remain open until 30 September 2020, unless extended by PFSCM.

Submissions:

Suppliers whose diagnostic tests and required ancillary products used for the detection of SARS-COV-2 are approved as per the Global Fund Quality Assurance Policy, are encouraged to request a copy of this RFP. Early Bid submissions are encouraged.

Suppliers whose products, as indicated above, are at various stages of development, and/or awaiting approval are also encouraged to request a copy of the RFP.

Bidders shall be allowed to submit their proposals during “windows”. This dynamic approach will allow the Bidders to submit their offers when they are ready, and to capture products that are eligible, according to the Global Fund Quality Assurance Policy, as soon as these approvals become available.

The RFP covers six different product groups:

1. Molecular diagnostic tests for the qualitative detection of SARS-COV-2 nucleic acid

2. Molecular diagnostic tests for the quantitative detection of SARS-COV-2 nucleic acid

3. Immunoassay diagnostic tests for the qualitative detection of SARS-COV-2 antibodies and/or antigens

4. Immunoassay diagnostic tests for the quantitative detection of SARS-COV-2 antibodies and/or antigens

5. Rapid diagnostic tests for the detection of antibodies to SARS-COV-2 and

6. Rapid diagnostic tests for the detection of antigens of SARS-COV-2
