HRH King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia donated a financial grant to build a medical city In Bahrain named as King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz Medical City (KAMC) for Arabian Gulf University. HM King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa. King of Bahrain donated to AGU a land of one million square meters (one square kilometre) in the Southern Governorate of the Kingdom of Bahrain to build the Medical City. The development will be completed in multiple phases. The first phase will comprise of the Academic Medical Center (AMC) of 288 beds and the required site infrastructure.
