Tender Details

Tenders are invited for Supply, Installation, Commissioning Training and Maintenance of a Government IT Service Desk Solution for the Government of Uganda.

The Supplier Shall Supply, Install, Commission, Train and provide maintenance
for an integrated service desk solution to facilitate interaction between all NITA-U
clients and the NITA-U support teams. It should include the following components;
i. A state-of-art platform that should support intelligent interaction between
NITA-U clients and the support teams via, telephone, e-mail, and online
live chat.
ii. Case Management system to ensure all clients’ requests are logged,
followed up and closed.
iii. A web based portal for NITA-U customers to be able to access self-service
tools and functions such as log and track tickets, view training material,
tracking tickets.
v. The Service Desk Solution will be hosted at the cloud based National
Data center and will be set up to support at least 300 MDA/LG’s across
Government.
vi. The Service Desk will interact with the Network Operating Center (NOC),
Security Operating Center (SOC) and the Government Citizen Interaction
Center (GCIC)
vii. The tool will also enable communication with NITA-U’s social media
accounts.

Bids must be delivered to the address below at or before 10:30am on 12th March, 2020. Bids need to be secured by a Bid Security. The amount of Bid Security required is USD 3, 000. The Bid Security shall be valid for Twenty-Eight (28) days beyond the bid validity period, i.e., 208 days after the bids submission deadline. Late bids will be rejected.

A hard copy of the bidding document may be purchased by interested Bidders on submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a fee of UGX 180, 000/-(Non-Refundable) or equivalent in any freely convertible currency.
