Site Inspection: A compulsory site visit and clarification meeting will be held on 6 March 2017 at 08:30 hours at the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development Headquarters, Office No. 252, Second Floor. Proposals from bidders who did not attend the meeting will not be accepted.

Restriction: This is an Open Domestic Tender. The Presidential Directive CAB 34 (B) on procurement of locally produced goods and services will be applied
in this tender. To qualify for EDD price preference, please submit a copy of relevant and valid EDD Certificate. Local Procurement Scheme of Presidential Directive No. 19B. 2013 will be applied in this tender. Therefore, bidders who qualify under this scheme are required to submit National Identity (Onutng) numbers. In addition. disabled bidders are required to submit any document that confirms their disability. This is subject to the prevailing DATC threshold. If the value of the tender exceeds the DATC approval authority then price preference will not apply. Bidders who are domiciled in Botswana must, in order to be considered foraward of the contract, be appropriately registered with the Public Procurement and Asset Disposal (PPADB) in the following codes: Code: 118 - Telecommunication Services, Sub-Code: 03 - Data Transmission and Value Added Services and Code: 120 - ICT Systems and Managed Services, Sub-Code: 07 - Internet Services. The Procuring Department is Department of Corporate Services. Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development. he bid response shall be submitted in separate sealed envelopes clearly marked "Technical" and "Financial" proposal respectively and enclosed in another large sealed envelope clearly marked: "Tender No. MTC 08/05/11 2017/18 - A Service Contract for Supply. Installation. Commissioning and Maintenance of Wi-Fi and Wireless Internet Services to the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development Headquarters". They are to be addressed to: Ministerial Tender Committee Secretary, Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development. Private Bag 006, Gaborone. The original must be clearly marked "Original" and will he retained by Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development for reference purposes. Bidders are to submit I (one) original and two (2) duplicate copies for both technical and financial proposals.
