Tender Details
Tenders are invited for Supply, Installation and Training for Trade Fair Equipment.
1. This Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN) for this project that appeared in UNDB online (AFDB711-07/17) of 18 July 2017 and on the African Development Bank Group’s Internet Website.
2. The Government of the Republic of The Gambia has received Grant from the African Development Bank towards the cost of Inclusive Growth Promotion and Institutional Support Project (IGPISP). It is intended that part of the proceeds of this grant will be applied to eligible payments under the contract for the Supply and Installation of Trade Fair Equipment for the Gambia Chamber of Commerce and Investment (GCCI).
3. The Ministry of Finance and Economics Affairs (MOFEA) now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the supply and installation of Trade Fair equipment and the provision of training on installation, dismantling, maintenance and safe storage of the following:
• Mini Pagoda Tents
• Octagon Tents
• Mobile Toilets
4. Bidding will be conducted through International Competitive Bidding (ICB) procedures in accordance with the Procurement Policy and Methodology for Bank Group Funded Operations”, dated October 2015, as amended from time to time, and is open to all eligible Bidders that meet the following minimum qualification criteria:
a) Proof of Business registration Certificate (Mandatory for all bidders)
b) Proof of successful completion of minimum of two similar contracts within the last seven (7) years with values of at least $200, 000 (Two hundred thousand US Dollars) each.
c) Demonstrate access to, or availability of, financial resources such as liquid assets, unencumbered real assets, lines of credit, and other financial means, other than any contractual advance payments to a value of at least $210, 000 (Two hundred and ten thousand US Dollars).

5. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the Bidding Documents during official hours Monday to Thursday from 08:00am to 4:00pm and Friday from 08:00am to 12:30pm at the address given below:

6. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders upon submission of a written application to the above address and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of US$111.00 or D5, 000 (five thousand Dalasis only). The method of payment is Cash.
7. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted and late bids will be rejected.
8. The provisions in the Instructions to Bidders and in the General Conditions of Contract are the provisions of the African Development Bank Standard Bidding Document: Procurement of Goods.
9. Bids must be delivered to the office address below on or before 12:00hrs (local time) on Monday 27th August 2018 and must be accompanied by a bid security of US$9, 100 (Nine thousand one hundred US dollars).
