Tenders are invited for Supply of Fire Rescue Boat. 1. This Invitation for Bids (IFB) follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN) for this Project that appeared in United Nations Development Business online ( No. AfDB 1304-12/16 and on the African Development Bank’s website ( on 11/08 2016. 2. The Government of the Republic of Uganda received funds from the African Development Fund towards the cost of Multinational Lake Victoria Maritime Communication and transport Project (MLVMCT). It is intended that part of the proceeds will be used for payments under the contract for the Supply of; Lot 3. 1 (one) Fire rescue boat 3. The Ministry of Works and Transport now invites sealed Bids from Bidders for Supply of the above boats designed according to Class assigned by a Recognised Classification Society and National regulations. 4. Interested bidders may obtain further information from the address below during office hours from 08:30 to 17:00 hours Ugandan Time. 5. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX 100,000 (One Hundred Thousand Uganda Shillings). The method of payment will be through the Bank using Bank advice forms available and can be picked from the Ministry`s cash office. 6. The provisions in the Instructions to Bidders and in the General Conditions are those of the Bank’s Standard Bidding Document for Procurement of Goods. 7. Bids must be delivered to the address below not later than 29th April 2020 at 1100 HRS local time.
