Prior Information Notice for Supply, Delivery, Installation and Commissioning of Laboratory Equipment and other Laboratory Materials for the new National Medicines Quality Control Laboratory (NQCL).

The supply, delivery, installation and commissioning of laboratory equipment and other laboratory materials for the new National Medicines Quality Control Laboratory (NMQCL), which is currently under construction with an expected completion date of 5 October 2018.

Seven (7) lots
Lots Titles:
Lot 1: Supply, Delivery, Installation and Operation Qualification (IQ/OQ) of Dissolution Testing Equipment including user training
Lot 2: Supply, Delivery, Installation and Operation Qualification (IQ/OQ) of Chromatographic Equipment, PCs, Printers and Software, including user training
Lot 3: Supply, Delivery, Installation and Operation Qualification (IQ/OQ) of Spectrophotometric Equipment, PCs, Printers and Software, including user training

Lot 4: Supply and Delivery of Laboratory Analytical Equipment (including installation and/or operation qualification (IQ/OQ) and user training, where indicated)

Lot 5: Supply and Delivery of Microbiological Laboratory Analytical Equipment (including installation and/or operation qualification (IQ/OQ) and user training, where indicated)

Lot 6: Supply and Delivery of General Laboratory Equipment (including installation and/or operation qualification (IQ/OQ) and user training, where indicated)
Lot 7: Supply and Delivery of Laboratory Consumables and Glassware

12. Performance guarantee
The successful tenderer will be asked to provide a performance guarantee of 5% of the amount of the contract at the signing of the contract. This guarantee must be provided together with the return of the countersigned contract no later than 30 days after the tenderer receives the contract signed by the Contracting Authority. If the selected tenderer fails to provide such a guarantee within this period, the contract will be void and a new contract may be drawn up and sent to the tenderer which has submitted the next cheapest compliant tender.
13. Information meeting and/or site visit
An optional information meeting will be held on 24 July 2018 at 09:00Hrs Zambian Time at the National Authorising Office of the European Development Fund, Ministry of Finance, Central Statistical Office (CSO) Complex - Opposite UNZA Ridgeway Campus, Corner Nationalist/John Mbita Roads, Lusaka, Zambia.
