Duhozanye is a Non- Governmental Organization legally operating in Rwanda granted legal personality No 131/11 of 2003 whose mission is“ to ensure the socio-economic rehabilitation of widows and orphans of the genocide in order to integrate them into everyday life so that they can particularly striving for self-reliance and generally participate in the development of the country”.

TENDER TITLE: SUPPLY OF CLEAN WATER TO POWER PROJECT BENEFICIARIES IN KIBIRIZI AND GISHUBI HOUSEHOLDS

DUHOZANYE is a non-profit making association with the primary objective of defending the rights of widows and orphans and contributing then to sustainable development in its operational area as a way of finding a common solution to various problems caused by the genocide.

In partnership with ActionAid Rwanda, Duhozanye organization is implementing POWER project” Promoting Opportunities for Women Economic Rights” Funded by The Netherlands. It is with this background that, Duhozanye organizations invites eligible companies specialized in supplying plumbing materials and connecting households to WASAC clean water to bid for the above mentioned Tender. The competition is open to all local eligible companies specialized in similar field. The set of Bid documents may be obtained from DUHOZANYE HEAD OFFICE, located in Gisagara district, Save sector, B.P 477 Butare Tel: 0788226103/0728226103, during normal working hours, upon payment of non-refundable fees of 10, 000Rwfs payable to account number 1390130343-26 named DUHOZANYE-FLOW II PROJECT opened in Bank of COGEBANQUE.

Well typed bid technical and financial proposals, properly bound & presented in 3 copies, one is original and both copies must be submitted in sealed envelopes at Duhozanye Head Office not later than 29th April 2019 at 10:00 am. The envelopes should be addressed to the coordinator of Duhozanye Organization.

The public opening of the bids will take place at Duhozanye’s Head office on 29th April 2019 at 10:30 am.
