1. This Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN) for this project that appeared in United Nations Development Business online (UNDB online) dated on April 04th, 2014 and on the African Development Bank Group-s Internet Website (www.afdb.org).

2. The Government of the Republic of Angola has received Financing from the African Development Bank in various currencies towards the cost of Fisheries Sector Support Project. It is intended that part of the proceeds of this loan will be applied to eligible payments under the contract for the SUPPLY AND INSTALLATION OF IT MASTS AND DEVICES FOR MONITORING AND MANAGEMENT 0F 130 BOATS, INCLUDING TRAINING OF FISHERMEN ON HOW TO USE THE DEVICE.

The PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION UNIT now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the SUPPLY AND INSTALLATION OF IT MASTS AND DEVICES FOR MONITORING AND MANAGEMENT 0F 130 BOATS, INCLUDING TRAINING OF FISHERMEN ON HOW TO USE THE DEVICE, to equip the Fishing Centers located in Nzeto (Zaire Province) and Egito Praia (Benguela Province) Fishing Communities in Angola. This International Competitive Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Bank`s Rules and Procedures for Procurement of Goods and Works, September 2010 and revised February 2018.

4. A complete set of bidding documents may be obtained (free of charges) by interested bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address or email indicated above.

5. The provisions in the Instructions to Bidders and in the General Conditions are those of the Bank-s Standard Bidding Document for Procurement of Goods, dated September 2010, revised February 2018.

6. Bids must be labeled as follows: SUPPLY AND INSTALLATION OF IT MASTS AND DEVICES FOR MONITORING AND MANAGEMENT 0F 130 BOATS, INCLUDING TRAINING OF FISHERMEN ON HOW TO USE THE DEVICEand delivered to the above office on or before 11:00, local time, by October 07, 2020 and must be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of 2% of the estimated contract amount, labeled in USD or its equivalent in Angolan Kwanzas (AOA), at the Central bank-s official exchange rate against the USD at the date of 10 days before the deadline for submission of bids.

7. Bids shall remain valid for 126 days after the deadline for bid submission prescribed above.
