1. The Municipal Government Unit of Initao, Misamis Oriental intends to apply the sum of: Five Hundred Seventy Five Thousand Pesos (Php 575, 000.00) inclusive of VAT, being the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) to payment under the contract for the Supply and Delivery of Laboratory Equipment for Criminology Program(IC).

2. Bids received in excess of the ABC shall automatically rejected at Bid Opening. Late bids shall not be accepted.

3. The Municipal Government Unit of Initao, Misamis Oriental now invites Bids from local authorized dealers, distributors, resellers for the Supply and Delivery of Laboratory Equipment for Criminology Program (IC) (hereafter referred to as GOODS).

4. Subject to Item 3 above, the bidding is open to Filipino citizens/sole proprietorships, partnerships, or organizations with at least sixty percent (60%) interest or outstanding capital stock belonging to citizens of the Philippines.

5. Delivery of Goods is required within thirty (30) calendar days from receipt of Notice to Proceed.

6. A prospective Bidder should have completed within the last five (5) years from the date of submission and receipt of bids at least one (1) single contract of similar nature amounting to at least fifty percent (50%) of the ABC.

7. Open competitive bidding will be conducted using a non-discretionary -œpass/fail- criterion as specified in the Revised Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act (R.A.) 9184, otherwise known as the -œGovernment Procurement Reform Act-. All particulars relative to this bidding including Eligibility Checking, Bid Security, Evaluation and Post-Qualifications Procedures and Award of Contract shall be governed by R.A. 9184 and its Revised IRR.

8. The Invitation to Bid and Checklist of Requirements may be downloaded from the website of the Philippine Government Electronic Procurement System (PhilGEPS) as indicated above upon payment of a non-refundable fee as indicated above. The Bidding Documents shall be received personally by the prospective Bidder or his duly authorized representative upon presentation of proper identification document.



Bidder must first pay the non-refundable fee for the Bidding Documents on or before the date of the Opening of Bids.
