Description:

A device intended for mammography (breast) procedures and

provide diagnostic images and should feature a short term

examination cycle and image display time. The image detector

section of the exposure unit is equipped with a direct convesion

panel detector and uses a proprietary panel to acquire high

quality images with a high resolution and low level of noise.

The unit should be tomosynthesis ready and upgradeable.

The unit should also be Stereotatic Biopsy ready and upgradeable

2D biopsy applicable.



X-ray Generator and X-ray Tube:

a. Should be high frequency and preferably inverter type at least 5kW

b. Tube voltage range: 22kV to 50kV in (1kV interval)

c. mAs setting: 1mAs to 600mAs with precision setting at +/- 10% + 2mAs

d. Tube current: large focus at least 200mA small focus at least 50mA

Service Center:

a. There should be a local service center with engineer immediately for

troubleshooting / preventive maintenance or within 24-48 hours time

expectation for problems cannot be settled on phone instructions.
