Tender Details

Tenders are invited for Supply and Delivery of Assorted Specialized Agricultural Machinery- Forage Harvester-Chopper & Haylage/Round Baler & Wrapper.

BID SECURITY: UGX 6100000

The Government of the Republic of Uganda through National Animal Genetic Resources Center and Databank (NAGRC&DB) has allocated funds and intends to apply a portion of the proceeds of the funds to cover eligible payments under Supplies, Works and Framework contracts for the various requirements for which this invitation to bid is issued.


3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open domestic bidding method contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public AssetsAct, 2003, and is open to ail Eligible bidders as defined in the regulation.

4. The Bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to NAGRC&DB PDU during working hours with effect from 2/08/2019 to 28/08/2019 between 9:00am - 5:00pm.

5. A complete set of bidding documents may be purchased at a non-refundable fee of UGX 200, 000 (Uganda shillings two hundred thousand shillings only) to the bank details named below; Account No.9030005915731, Account Name: NATIONAL ANIMAL GENETIC RESOURCES CENTER AND DATABANK (NAGRC&DB), Bank: Stanbic Bank

The following documentation shall be required for each firm or company:

a. A copy of the Applicant’s valid Trading license;

b. A copy of the Applicant’s valid Certificate of Registration;

c. A copy of the Applicant’s valid income tax clearance certificate or equivalent;

d. A copy of the Applicant’s valid TIN registration or equivalent;

e. A copy of the Applicant’s registered powers of Attorney of the signatory authorizing the bid on behalf of the company, firm or joint venture;

f. A copy of the applicant’s valid PPDA service provider registration certificate

g. Where applicable, a certified copy of the Joint Venture Agreement, which is legally binding on ail partners, showing that ail partners shall be jointly and severally liable and one of the partners will be nominated as being in charge, authorised to incur liabilities, and receive instructions for and on behalf of any and ail partners of the joint venture

Note:

1. Identification details of Directors should be fixed in the bid documents.

2. You are strongly advised to apply in line with your Business objectives as specified in your Firm’s/ Company’s certificate of incorporation, Articles and Memorandum of Associations.

6. There will be a Pre-bid meeting on 16th August 2019 in NAGRC&DB-PDU office Entebbe, at I 1:00 am Local Time.

7. Bids must be delivered before 29th August 2019 at the address below at 10:00 am.
