Description

Idaho National Laboratory (INL), managed and operated by Battelle Energy Alliance, LLC (BEA), is offering the opportunity to enter into a license and/or collaborative research agreement to commercialize the Supercritical Fluid Process for Rare Earth Element Recovery technology.

Researchers at INL have invented an integrated method to more safely separate and remove mercury and rare earth elements from fluorescent light bulbs.

This method can be applied to the commercial recycling of used fluorescent lamps. This method also has the potential of application for magnet recycling.
