The federal bureau of prisons (bureau), community treatment services contracting; washington, d.c. Is seeking quotes from sources having the ability to provide community-based outpatient substance abuse and mental health services in oakland, california. The services provided should be within a three (3) mile radius of the oakland city hall, 1 frank h. Ogawa plaza, oakland, california 94612 and within a 0.50 mile from an alameda-contra costa transit (ac transit) stop. Performance periods under this contract will be for a one-year base period to begin on october 01, 2019 with four (4) one-year option renewal periods with service ending on september 30, 2024 (if all options are renewed). The following required services may be sub-contracted to other licensed contractors.
Base year: estimated number of inmates = 45
substance abuse treatment services:
substance use intake: (one per authorize inmate) for 45 inmates = 45 intakes.
Substance use assessments & report: (one per authorized inmate) for 45 inmates = 45 assessments
individual counseling sessions: 48 units (30 minutes = 1 unit) x 45 (per inmate) = 2160units
group counseling sessions: 72 units (30 minutes = 1 unit) x 45 (per inmate) = 3240 units
family counseling: 16 units (30 minutes = 1 unit) x 10 (per inmate) = 160 units
mental health treatment services: 10 inmates
mental health intake: (one per inmate) for 10 inmates = 10 intakes
mental health intake assessment & report: (one per inmate) for 15 inmates = 15 units
psychiatric evaluation & report: 1 report per authorized inmate x 10 inmates = 10 reports
