Description: As a public waste disposal authority, the city is basically responsible for waste disposal and street cleaning in Cologne. The City of Cologne has commissioned the waste management company Cologne GmbH (AWB) and AVG Abfallentsorgungs- und Verwertungsgesellschaft Köln mbH (AVG) to fulfill these obligations. In addition to the two companies in private legal form, the in-house facility "Waste Management Companies of the City of Cologne" (AWB eE) ensures waste disposal, street cleaning and winter maintenance in accordance with the waste statutes and the street cleaning statute. There are service contracts with AWB and AVG.
The object of the contract is to carry out a comprehensive analysis of the organizational and social structures of AWB, AVG and the in-house organization AWB as well as their organizational interfaces.
