this is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in far subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (rfq), solicitation number w912pm18qvi05.
This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through federal acquisition circular 2005-100. This procurement will be set aside as an 8(a) small business competitive set aside under the naics code 332311 with a small business size standard of 750 employees. Award will be made to the lowest price technically acceptable quote.
Description of requirement: the wilmington district of the u.s. Army corps of engineers requires a contractor to perform acquisition and installation of temporary structure(s) and parking area to meet the needs for supporting public facilities that were destroyed or severely damaged due to the destruction created by hurricane irma and hurricane maria. The temporary structures shall be used to support healthcare treatment and administration. See attached scope of work.
