General Procurement Notice for Specialized Machinery and Vehicles for Landfill Operation.

GENERAL PROCUREMENT NOTICE

This is an update of the General Procurement Notice 8707-GPN-46147 published on the EBRD website on 30 May 2017.

The State Unitary Enterprise (SUE) ”Khojagii Manziliy Kommunali” intends using the proceeds of a loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the Bank) and of a grant from an international donor Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) to further improve solid waste management services in Khorog city. The proposed project, which has a total estimated cost of USD 4 million equivalent, will require the procurement of the following remaining goods, works and services:

Specialized machinery and vehicles for landfill operation

Tendering for the above contracts is expected to begin in the second or third quarter of 2018.

Contracts to be financed with the proceeds of a loan and a grant from the Bank will be subject to the Bank's Procurement Policies and Rules 2014 and will be open to firms from any country. The proceeds of the Bank's loan will not be used for the purpose of any payment to persons or entities, or for any import of goods, if such payment or import is prohibited by a decision of the United Nations Security Council taken under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations or under a law of official regulation of the Purchaser's country.
