Seqwater is seeking expression of interest for the south wet pipeline project.



The projected bulk water demand for the beaudesert region is expected to exceed current capacity by approximately 2022 and increase significantly thereafter due to significant projected growth in the area. There is also significant growth predicted in the adjacent logan city council (lcc) area of south logan which includes the yarrabilba and flagstone developments.seqwater is implementing plans for new infrastructure to provide the future water supply to the beaudesert and logan areas.part of seqwater's plan will be a pipeline ("the south west pipeline") between flagstone and beaudesert which will connect the beaudesert township to south-east queensland water grid. works with in the south west pipeline project are expected to include a 27km pipeline, balancing reservoirs, a transfer pump station and a chlorination (disinfection) systems. The pipe line includes several water crossings.seqwater intends to procure the services of a contractor to deliver the south west pipeline project through a design and construct contract via a competitive early contractor involvement procurement process. To commence this process seqwater are call for expression of interest to be submitted.
