Opportunity Details :Project DescriptionWe are seeking to receive Tenders from Local, Socially Engaged Creative Artists to deliver a socially engaged Local Project. By Local Artists we mean artists living and / or working in Northern Ireland & the Border Counties.
The selected Local Artist will work with communities and people most affected by The Northern Ireland Troubles. The Theatre and Peace Building Academy is particularly interested in addressing historical events within Northern Ireland s and the Border Counties fractured and divided communities including bombings, shootings, paramilitary activity, and allegations of collusion by State bodies.
The selected Local Artists will work closely with, and be mentored by International Artist Damian Gorman. The aim is to develop meaningful creative collaboration which aids the delivery and impact of quality Arts & Peace Building work, as well as enhancing the Local Artists creative practice.
