Tender Details
The purpose of the market engagement process is to solicit feedback from the supplier market regarding proposed service integration and managed services (SIMS) service profiles. This feedback will inform the SIMS service design to ensure that the views of the supplier community are considered before the services are finalised and made available in the digital Marketplace (www.marketplace.govt.nz). This is an opportunity for suppliers to provide input about the service attributes, and their view of market trends. The SIMS programme is seeking to design the SIMS services to reflect the dynamic and rapidly evolving ICT services market.
Over the past few months, a few set of service profile documents have been posted periodically on the government electronic tender services (GETS), for the purpose of obtaining participating supplier feedback. Each release on GETS is called a "Drop" and may contain multiple service profile documents. Each Drop will have a "reply by" date so that the SIMS programme can complete the service design for the relevant services in that Drop, and deploy them in the Marketplace.
Any feedback received after the "reply by" date, will be considered in the next review of that particular service.
The "reply by" date for this Drop (Drop 5) is 5 April, 2019.
Based on market feedback, we have published updated service profiles for Drop 1 and Drop 2 on GETS (as addenda). We are working through the feedback on Drop 3 and 4 and will provide updated service profiles soon.
