Tender Details

Description: pre-fabricated shower/restroom building installation at sherando lake recreation area. The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials and supplies to prepare access route for delivery of building kit, site excavation for building placement and construction of building kit. Work includes (but not limited to) ensuring route access is clear of obstructions for delivery by semi-truck, unloading building kit upon delivery, excavation/leveling of site, constructing concrete footings and floor, assembly of pre-fabricated building kit on foundation (including connecting to existing water, sanitary sewer and electrical), construction of sidewalks and final grading, seeding and mulching.

Range of the government estimate: the government estimate for this project is between $75, 000 and $150, 000. This does not mean that our estimate for the price of the work falls anywhere within that range; it means that our estimate is an actual number that lies at a specific point between those two values.

Site visit information: a pre-quote site visit will be held. The location, date and time of the meeting will be announced when the full solicitation is posted on the fbo website.

Period of performance: contract time will be 90 calendar days from the effective date of the notice to proceed.

Contractor qualifications: contractor must be registered in the system for award management (sam) (http://www.sam.gov) to receive award of a contract.

Set-aside: this project is a total small business set-aside. The naics code for this project is 236220; the small business size standard is $36.5 million.

Bonding information: a bid bond is not required for this project. 100% payment protection will be required to be submitted within 10 days by the successful awardee.
