Tenders are invited for Seven nos. of River Crossings spread in the following Local Governments Areas, Ikeduru, Mbaitoli, Njuba, Isiala Mbano and Obowo
Bid Security: 8, 300, 000.00 (NGN)
The Works generally include: site clearance; earthworks; provision of lateritic capping layer, sub-base and base course, construction of single and multi-cells concrete box culverts of various sizes; provision of road signs and other road furniture. The construction period will last for Nine (9) months. * .
Bidders may bid for one or several lots subject to meeting the conditions for multiple lots, as further defined in the bidding document. Bidders wishing to offer discounts in case they are awarded more than one contract will be allowed to do so, provided those discounts are included in the Letter of bid.
Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding procedures as specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement of Goods, Works end Non-Consulting Services under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits & Grants by World Bank Borrowers, dated January 2011 and updated July, 2014 (“Procurement Guidelines”), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines.
In addition, please refer to paragraphs 1.6, and 1.7 setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest.
Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from the Project Coordinator, Imo State Project Implementation Unit, (SPIU) Rural Access arid Mobility Project, (e-mail: imo_ramp@yahoo.com; imospiu@gmail.com) and inspect the Bidding document during office hours of 0900 to 1600 hours at the address given below.
A complete set of bidding documents in English Language may be purchased by interested eligible bidders upon payment of a non-refundable fee of thirty thousand Naira (NGN 30, 000) for one Lot only, and any additional lot will include a fee of Twenty Thousand Naira (NGN 20, 000) only. All payments in respect to the purchase of bidding documents should be made in favour of Imo State Rural Access and Mobility Project (RAMP) using Bank Draft.
Bids must bear the specific identification of this bidding process specified and be delivered to the address below on or before December 18, 2019 by 12noon prompt. Electronic Bidding WILL ‘’NOT be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened In the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below on December 18, 2019 by 12 noon.
