Expression of Interest are invited for Services of Assistant Master of Work (AMO) to Cameroon Telecommunications (CAMTEL).
Consistency of the services:
The Assistant to the Project Owner (AMO) will accompany with his advice and technical advice, the CAMTEL to manage its portfolio of markets in the following phases, when it is required:
1) Maturation of projects;
2) Choice of consultation mode or type of tender;
3) Assistance with the preparation of tender or consultation files;
4) Technical assistance to the Contracting Authority during the procurement phase;
5) Technical assistance in the preparation of procurement projects;
6) Assistance in the follow-up of the files of execution of the Services;
7) Technical opinion on payment records of providers;
8) Technical opinion on the quality of the Services performed.
The details of AMO's mission are set out in the Terms of Reference to be provided subsequently to pre-qualified candidates, in accordance with the provisions relating to the recruitment of individual consultants, enacted by Decree No. 2018/355 of 12 June 2018 laying down common rules applicable to the public enterprise markets.
University education (BAC + 5) in Engineering, Law, Management or related field;
Have a general professional experience of at least 20 years;
Total cumulative experience of at least 15 years in public contract preparation and management positions;
Master commonly used software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) as well as management tools such as e-mail;
Being able to work effectively under pressure;
Have significant analytical and problem-solving skills
Have excellent written and oral communication skills in French or English;
Be organized, rigorous and able to produce quality results in a timely manner.

The Assistant to the Client will be an individual consultant within the meaning of Decree No. 2018/355 of 12 June 2018 laying down the common rules applicable to the contracts of public companies, recruited for a period not exceeding three (03) years and will provide its services mainly in Yaoundé.
