The government intends to draw lessons from the Covid-19 health crisis experienced in Wallonia and wishes to transform this collective ordeal into an opportunity to revitalize Wallonia. This is the objective of the Get up Wallonia initiative: to create an intense and coherent dynamic to together shape the future of Wallonia and the citizens who live there. Through Get up Wallonia, the government intends to:

- manage the health emergency;

- minimize the economic and social impacts of the crisis;

- revive socio-economic activity;

- strengthen the resilience of our society and its capacity to meet new challenges.
